WANA TOI

Our kakahu carries the breath of whakapapa in every line. The front patterns honour Te Taiao and the swiftness of Puoro, while the Manaia stands as the backbone of those who walked before us a quiet reminder of gratitude, guidance, and protection. Woven throughout are symbols of the sacred bond between māmā and pēpi, the whenua they share, and the manaaki that nourishes us back to our roots. Water flows through the design, showing that connection remains, no matter the distance. On the back, the Manaia rises again, linking Te Ao and Te Pō, past and present, with haehae lines marking the generations we carry. This kākahu is strength a gentle call to stand true in who you are, and where you come from.
