Meaning Behind the Design:

This design weaves together traditional Māori patterns that speak of growth, strength, and new beginnings.

We wanted this design to have a point of view of our tamariki and what starting a new kura may look and feel like.

Koru- symbolises renewal, new beginnings and life unfolding. 

Niho Taniwha- symbolises strength,resilience and courage

Poutama- The staircase of akonga and achievements.

Mangōpare- represents determination and leadership  in their future endeavours.

Together, these motifs form a visual whakapapa a story of new beginnings, courage, and resilience.
